Our Mission

To share the love of God by serving our neighbors. To proclaim the Good News of salvation and truth revealed and fulfilled by Jesus Christ.To work for peace, justice, and the well-being of all people and creations, empowered by the Holy Spirit.

With faith, hope, and love, we gather to worship and scatter to serve until all people find true rest and renewal in God’s Kingdom.

Throughout its history, White Memorial has actively supported community programs with our members participating in various initiatives locally and globally:
 

• The Backpack program at Eastern Montgomery
  Elementary School.  

• The local food pantry with members giving donations
  of food and their time to support approximately 100 families monthly. 

• The Blessing Box outside the Waldron at the Meadowbrook Center. 

• The semiannual "Giving Day" which offers yard sale type
  items to our community sponsored by the Lay Ministerial Association ELIAS (Elliston, Lafeyette, Ironto, Alleghany and Shawsville).

• The 5th Sunday Services conducted by ELIAS.

• Meeting space for Ruritan Club. 

• The Pre-School which provides services for early
  childhood education for three- and four-year-olds.

• Scholarships to seniors at Eastern Montgomery
  High School and for local students to attend Camp Alta Mons (www.alstamons.org)

• Operation Christmas Child, an international relief program managed by Samaritan's Purse.

• Red Bird Mission to provide education and missions in Eastern Kentucky in conjunction with the Global Ministries of the United Methodist Church.
